HSCSD - High Speed Circuit Switch Data

HSCSD allows data transmission of a handset to be increased by using additional time slots. Typically it is twice as faxt as regular data at 9.6K.

HSCSD is not the same as GPRS, which remains permanently connected.

Not all networks support HSCSD and generally additonal charges apply to subscribe and / or use the service.
