Samsung M110 Features

Designed for durability with a rugged external shell, toughened rubber keys, VGA camera & Bluetooth, the Samsung Solid is designed for serious use. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect the Samsung Solid M110 to range of other wireless devices, while the VGA camera allows instant photo capture.

An integrated FM radio allows you to listen to your favourite radio stations at a touch, while support for downloadable Java games and applications allows access to a wealth of applications. Underneath, the Samsung M110 / Samsung Solid is a fairly basic but practical phone.

With a 1.5" 128 x 128 pixel CSTN and has Bluetooth, an FM radio, WAP 2.0 browser, a VGA resolution camera with a flash that can be used as a torch. It also has a large capacity battery that gives the M110 an impressive 8 hours maximum talktime with up to 16 days standby time.

A built in SOS message feature allows the user to send a SOS message when required & it is easy to access for those more difficult situations. A WAP browser can be found in the phones menu system which provides a XHTML web browsing feature which allows the user to gain access to information & services.

This robust handset comes with two megabytes of built in memory & it supports expandable memory in the form of a MicroSD™ memory card which the user to add & remove to suit their storage needs.

The Samsung M110 Solid supports Bluetooth® wireless technology which allows the user to transfer files & data using a wireless connection between devices.

High IP Rating

The Samsung Solid is rated to IP54, meaning that, on paper at least, it's even more tough than the JCB phone. (In case you're wondering the numbers in the IP rating tell you how resistant it is to dust (the first digit) and water (the second digit), out of 5). So, it seems that the Samsung M110 Solid should be the more rugged, the more hard-wearing of the two phones. On top of that, it also has a VGA camera, a built-in flashlight and is considerably cheaper than the JCB Phone.
